Design Range - Sailing

Below you will find information on our different ranges of sailing catamarans, the design ranges differ mostly in their materials and method of construction. You may find two boats of the same length are not the same due to different power to weight ratio, hull beam, mast height etc so we have drawn up a table to help you to identify the differences. This table will also be useful when comparing other designs to our own if you get the various statistics from the designer. You can access the Design Comparison Table here.

Wilderness X Series	A range of very successful performance cruising catamarans 10.40m; 11.20m; 12.50m; 13.40m; 15.00m; 16.50m, designed to take you anywhere in comfort and safety. Offered in KIT form, these cats are very simple to build with comprehsive plans including a construction manual and full backup service. Some pre-made components are available to further speed construction and furniture kits are included in our standard kit pricing. Built using DuFlex flat panels and Durakore strip planking with epoxy, these very high quality boats offer excellent investment return.
Cosmos Cats	Our Cosmos range of performance cruising catamarans are efficient sailing cats with all the features you'd want in a true round the world cruiser. Range includes sizes 11.6m, 12.5m (option in survey), a 13.2m, and 17.5m. This range of cats has been very well proven with many launched and sailing all over the World. Construction is from strip planked Durakore or Western Red Cedar with flat panels in Dulfex. Some kits are available in these designs for the flat panel components.
Waterline Cats	Our Waterline sailing catamaran range are performance/cruisers. Their long slim hulls offer exceptional sailing performance yet they have fantastic accommodation options for cruising. Being slim hulls they are only for the serious sailor who will be very concious of weight limitations and restrictions in every area, during construction and when sailing. Waterline cats are built with Durakore strip planking. If strict weight criteria are met, they make fantastic cruising cats. Sizes 11.6 metre, 13.2 metre, 14.8 metre, 16.2 metre and 17.5 metre.
Radical Bay Cats	The Radical Bay Cats are unique catamarans, mainly for weekend or coastal cruising. The Radical Bay 8000 has a simple hull form, with a vee section forward to stop slamming running aft to a flat exit to reduce hobby horsing. The 1060 is the big sister to the Radical Bay 8000 with afew new features. Unlike the 8000, the 1060 has a spacious hard-floored cockpit with ample seating for all the family and friends...

G-Force Cats	Our G-Force range are the latest lean, mean muscle-cats to come out of the design studio. These cats sport our distinctive reverse bow styling, really standing out in any anchorage or regatta. Keeping the weight down they'll blow everything else out of the water (see Brisbane-Gladstone Yacht Race 2009) or carefully loaded they can be very quick, fun to sail cruising platforms.
